Katy | Senior {Fort Collins, CO)

Rick and I love senior photography. What an exciting time in life, full of promise, full of change. There is something so special about getting to photograph someone we know well and be a part of these memories. That is why we were absolutely THRILLED when Katy & her mom Becky contacted us about taking her senior portraits. Katy and her family attend our Church, Laramie Valley Chapel. They have dedicated their lives to serving our great God and it is both inspiring and amazing how Katy has such a big heart for the Lord.

We first met Katy after finding out that she had a passion for photography (and a great eye might I add). We would meet once a week at a little coffee shop and talk everything photo. We would give her ‘lessons’, view her work and get lost for the hour in all the things we loved about making a beautiful photo. She was always so passionate, so eager to learn, so faithful to practicing. I remember when she came home from a big conference she was excited to have attended, memory card FULL of amazing images, eager to share them with us.

Getting to photograph Katy and spend the afternoon in Fort Collins with she and her mom was a blast. Great fellowship, beautiful locations and a truly amazing subject. Congrats on this huge milestone Katy! We cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for you. We know it is going to be awesome, inspiring and BIG!
