molly + landon | engagement {fort collins, co}

Rick and I LOVE getting to showcase our work at bridal shows. What an awesome way to not only have our work be seen by brides but also to MEET brides. We love dishing about their big day, finding out what makes them special and just generally getting to immerse ourselves in the wedding world. If you’ve ever been to a bridal show you know they can get crazy. They are VERY well attended and it isn’t uncommon for Rick and I to split up, talking to multiple brides at once. Sometimes you are just answering questions someone might have about your process, but then there are other times… Times when you KNOW you could do a phenomenal job capturing exactly what that bride is looking for. These are the times when things just click and you cross your fingers they end up calling you.  At BOTH the Cheyenne and Laramie bridal shows Rick and I found ourselves talking to two of these ‘perfect fit’ individuals. Rick had a fantastic conversation with such a sweet mom who was researching photographers for her daughter’s upcoming wedding. I had spoken with a great girl who was asking all the right questions, made photography a huge priority and whose wedding was right up our alley. Little did we know that the ‘girl’ with all the right questions was Molly AND the sweet lady conversing with Rick was Molly’s Mom 🙂

We absolutely clicked with Molly and were so excited when she and Landon asked us to photograph their big day. We met these two in Fort Collins for an engagement session filled with golden rod grasses, warm colored sagebrush and lots of cuteness! This was the first time we had met Landon and I tell you what, we shouldn’t be surprised that the best girls we ever meet are almost always marrying the best guys as well. What a funny, easy going and easy to like groom. We are so thrilled to have them as part of our Ardent family. As always here are a few of our faves from their session:
