Get ready! Katelyn and Brody’s Rockin S Ranch wedding is about to break the internet. Not only is this venue AH MAZE ING but all the unique and thoughtful details they had throughout were so memorable. You might want to grab a pen and paper because I don’t think it is possible to read through this post without seeing a few things you’d like to incorporate into your own special day.
It was so special for us to be there to photograph Brody and Katelyn’s wedding day. We have been photographing for Katelyn and her family since highschool. We photographed her senior pictures and continued throughout the year to be their family photographer. When we heard she was engaged we were overjoyed with excitement for their family and when they asked us to photograph her wedding we were literally in tears thinking about what an honor it was.
Katelyn and Brody, thank you for choosing us to help you remember your day. We loved the way you let your guard down and made your wedding fun, laid back and what YOU wanted. We hope we did your wedding day justice and cannot wait to see what the future will bring!

This Rockin S Ranch wedding had some amazing locations. The ranch itself is gorgeous but the getting ready room was a dream to photograph in. So elegant and girly and lots of natural light!
We absolutely adored how thoughtful Katelyn was with her jewelry and details. So many of her pieces were sentimental or belonged to important family members. What a beautiful way to include those that you love and make them feel special!
Something SO classic about getting ready photos in black and white. I feel like they totally focus your attention on the little details…

For those of you reading this that have never been to a Rockin S Ranch wedding before it is definitely a must see venue. Farmhouse and country but also elegant and sophisticated. Just an amazing place to say I DO!

One of our favorite things about this venue might be those gorgeous sliding barn doors that reveal the bride before she walks down the aisle.

These two are just the sweetest. Love stolen glances and shy smiles exchanged between the bride and groom during the ceremony.
Asking family members to share special tributes during the ceremony is such a fantastic way to make your loved ones feel special!
Katelyn was absolutely stunning, loved how that lovely floral crown wove perfectly into her hair.

Brody reading his Vows… Love this sweet moment. Making such an important promise to the love of your life is sort of a big deal right?
We just love it when our couples write their own vows! Something about reading your own words just brings so much emotion with it. Rick and I wrote our own vows and I remember just being a mess the day of.

You may now kiss your bride! These two had thunderclouds on the way half way through their ceremony. So happy the weather held off for them to get all the way through.
These two are just SO fun and have an amazing amount of personality. Loved getting to include this throughout their day.

There is something beautiful about traditional posed portraits. But THIS is so special, wide open mouth laughs where you cant help but smile.
Even though these two were married in Colorado, Katelyn is a Wyoming girl through and through. Loved using this rustic fencing in their photos, so something you would totally see back home.

When Brody and Katelyn wanted to climb up into the cattle chute on the property we were jazzed at the opportunity to capture something fun and spontaneous for them.

These two carried a rustic baseball theme throughout their wedding. How about these amazing branded coasters hand made by family? Love that like a brand you would see hear in WY, each coaster was absolutely unique and different from the others.
