You can absolutely tell within seconds of meeting her that she LOVES not only what she does but also sharing this with her clients. Not only can Lilli’s wonderful staff design the floral arrangements of your dreams but they can also PLAN you big day. Yep that’s right. Without further ado here is more about Bella Calla from the owner herself.

How long have you been in business?

I’ve been doing wedding flowers since 2003 but Bella Calla has been around since 2011.

Who or what got you started in the wedding industry?

I have always loved all things growing and all things lovely… When I decided to move into flowers, I fell in love with weddings! Love makign someone’s big day (once in a lifetime) special!

How would you describe your approach to floral artistry?

Different. We create artistic, innovative architectural floral design, and we’re doing it unlike any other florist in Colorado. We are extremely focused on the art of flowers, and service for our clients.

How did you decide on your company name?

I love alliteration, and Bella means beautiful, and Calla is a type of Lily, so it just worked out.

What do you remember most about the very first bouquet you ever created?

It was hideous! It was when I was mentoring under a fantastic florist, and she was showing me things. You’re not always good at things when you begin them.

What is your favorite part of being a florist?

I get to surround myself with all things lovely and all things growing at the same time.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Owning a successful florist and loving my husband. Same place I am now. LOVE my life. I get to do my dream job every day!

What is your favorite movie of all time?

*blushes* Empire Records.

What is one food that you absolutely cannot live without?

Sauce.

Why should a newly engaged couple invest in creative and professionally made floral designs for their big day?

Florals MAKE the visuals. They are visible in nearly every shot the rad photographers take, and that means they are in every photo, everyone’s mind. They make the wedding memorable, or not. Just like when you walk into an amazingly decorated room in a house, and it takes your breath away… that’s what we do in a wedding. Make it jaw-droppingly beautiful. Make the guests remember it for years.

What do you feel is the main thing that differentiates you from other florists?

Our level of service. We stay through the ceremony. We make sure nothing goes wrong, pin all the personal flowers, and move any ceremony decor to the reception. We are truly full service. Our communication and service sets us a step above. We also hire artists. Art and empathy are at the core of what we do. We build the best quality, most updated looks, at reasonable prices and support it every step of the way with service.
