WALDEN COLORADO PHOTOGRAPHERS | The Hartman Family

Rick and I received the sweetest message from Shayla who was looking for Walden Colorado photographers to capture her newborn baby girl. She had received our information from a good friend and at the time we did not know that we attended the same church, Laramie Valley Chapel, and probably saw each other most Sundays lol! When we heard that she wasn’t interested in props or studio work but wanted real connections and more of lifestyle approach we knew it would be a perfect fit!

Many people don’t know that Rick and I are in fact also Walden Colorado photographers. We travel all over both Colorado and Wyoming for our portrait clients and were so excited to visit the Hartman Family at their home. First off we were probably the most spoiled photographers ever as Shayla’s home was BIG, beautiful and full of gorgeous natural light. We had our pick of anywhere really to create their family portraits. We loved the amount of scripture throughout their home and being decorated so cutely it was super easy for us to find wonderful backgrounds for their photos.

For the longest time it was Shayla, her husband and her two boys. Then along came Miss Rylee Mae and everyone was so in love! From her protective Daddy to her adoring Big Brothers everyone wanted to hold her for photos! It was so fun not only capturing this family as they were in their own environment but also in such a photo journalistic way. There is definitely a time and place for studio photography but there in their home, witness to the amazing amount of love between them all we just felt honored to be the Walden Colorado photographers they chose to document this special occasion.

Shayla & Reece, thank you for choosing Ardent. Thank you for inviting us into your home and allowing us to photograph this amazing milestone for you! Miss Rylee Mae is just the cutest little girl and your boys were so polite and well behaved. We can absolutely see that you have made Jesus a priority in your home, it just shines through not only in your photos but also in our experience with your sweet little family. Congratulations and now that we know that we attend the same church let’s definitely make it a point to ‘run into each other’ more often!
