2015 was a whirlwind for us here at Ardent. 2016 is now officially off and running and we wanted to take some time to visit some of our favorite images from last year. Last year was MONUMENTAL for our little company. Our Ardent Associate Photographer’s, Kim & Scott completed their first season as part of our team. It is so amazing to see their clients SO well taken care of and the genuine connection they were able to make with their Bride’s & Groom’s throughout the year. This year we were fortunate to get to photograph at some of our absolute FAVORITE venues including Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Brookside Gardens, Little America, and the always lovely Ivinson Mansion here in Laramie. We got to shoot with a few new venues as well including Lionsgate Event Center, The Retreat at Solterra, The Evergreen Lakehouse and The Church Ranch Event Center. We spent our fair share of time in breathtaking mountain scenery as we photographed weddings at Ten Mile Station, St Alban’s Chapel and the GORGEOUS Esterbrook Church right here in WY. Definitely a highlight of this wedding season though were our two destination weddings! Kim & Scott photographed Devil’s Tower nuptials and Rick and I had an amazing time photographing in Custer State Park. Oh and who can forget the elopement we had the pleasure of shooting at Aspen Alley, one of the most amazing spots in the entire world! What an absolute blessing to be able to travel around this beautiful country of ours photographing people in love.
We had the pleasure of photographing three beautiful babies throughout their ENTIRE first year and worked with countless other adorable newborns and kiddos in the area. We headed out on family portrait excursions and had a wonderful time teaching photography student’s at our annual Ardentology Workshop. Our clients were featured in numerous blogs and magazines including both the local AND regional editions of Rocky Mountain Bride. One of our favorite feature moments however came when we got to inform Kim that her stunning image of Riley’s bouquet would be gracing the COVER of Wyoming Weddings Magazine!
I could go on an on about how our amazing God has guided us through this past year and taught us so much through blessings (and trials). Our son Noah was born, and our little Chloe Bugs started preschool! Our family saw SO MANY medical concerns, conditions, surgeries, hospitals and procedures I seem to have lost count. But The Lord was right there with us through every step and to Him be the glory for bringing us through yet another year. His steadfast lovingkindness, grace and great mercy is something we will never take for granted and we hope that as you look through our year in review images His glory shines through! We worked with so many amazing families and individuals and produced more images that I can count. To make it easier to glimpse into our 2015 we have divided the images into sections. Thank you for visiting our blog, we hope your 2015 was a year to remember and wish you all the best for the year to come!
