meet the nelsons | family {happy jack}

 

We have known the Nelson Family forever now. I remember when we first had Chloe she had SUCH a hard time adjusting to the nursery at church. She would cry, fuss and just generally not want anything to do with playing with the other kiddos. Gretchen was such a God send. She was patient, loving and most of all persistent with our stubborn little girl. As a new mom, full of anxiety, she put me at ease that Chloe was being loved on the entire time she was away! We love this family SO much, so when they asked us if we would take their family photos we were thrilled.

Talking to Jason about what kind of a feel he wanted for the photos there was one thing he was adamant about… He wanted the photos to reflect the love between his family and feature what was at the very heart of it, their love for God. We headed out to Happy Jack with these two and their gorgeous kiddos. We searched out fall aspens, climbed snowy hills and ended their session singing worship songs and reading their family bible. It warms our heart to no end to be able to share these images! Here are a few of our faves:
