Krista & Chris | Wedding {Snowy Mountain Lodge}

Rick and I absolutely LOVE what we do and to say we try our best for our clients on their wedding day would be the understatement of the year. We always joke that our own expectations are so high that even if we feel like we might have had an ‘off day’ our clients would probably never notice. Every once in a while though a client comes along like Krista. Krista reads our blog regularly. She may have seen every photo we’ve ever taken. She and her fiancé Chris booked their wedding photography package with us before they even had a wedding date. She knows the in’s and out’s of our style like the back of her hand and can look at a photo and tell you if it was one that Rick took or something that I captured. Maybe, just maybe we felt a little extra pressure when it came to capturing their big day…

Chris and Krista were married at the Snowy Mountain Lodge in gorgeous Centennial, WY. What started off as a rainy day turned absolutely perfect as the clouds lifted and sunshine filled that big blue mountain sky. Their ceremony was one of the most touching we have witnessed. The couple kept stealing glances at one another, exchanging smiles and even made way for a few tears. After saying their I DO’s they made their way into the lodge for a fun filled reception. I joke with Krista that if there ever was someone who could rival me as a Pinterest junkie it would be her. Let me tell you, this girl put Pinterest to work! Their entire day was FILLED with thoughtful décor that fit their theme to a tee! Their flowers were bright and beautifully made by Poppy’s Flowers in Laramie. Roxie’s served up an awesome meal then it was on to the party!

Chris and Krista, we cannot express how happy we are that God brought you into our lives. It was our absolute pleasure to get to photograph such an important day in your lives. We are over the moon thrilled for you and your family and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for you!
